Mexico borders the United States of America to the north and Belize to the south. It has a land mass of 758,449 sq. miles. It is slightly three times the size of Texas. It is composed of tropics, deserts, mountains, plateaus and plains.
Mexico has a population of over 125,000,000. The main language spoken is Spanish, although there are over 85 different spoken dialects.
The current government type is democracy (Federal Republic).
Mexico has enjoyed independence since September 16 of 1810. The capital is Mexico (Distrito Federal).
